In late november 2017 before the Russian premiere of the Matilda (2017) movie, which accused a scandal in Russia, the member of the russian parlament Natalja Wladimirowna Poklonskaja have shown at a Duma session Sebastian Bieniek's photographs of Eidinger to prove that Eidinger is an "porno actor".
