More paintings from the "111 Faces" series (no. 19-no. 27) of 111 potrait paintings was for the very first time on this website published!
The series was created during five years, from 2016 to 2021. All paintings have the same size of 30 cm. x 24 cm.
The paintings are mostly made gestural, which means that the painter painted what came into his mind without thinking about it until he found the face he was looking for.

Du to the death of an art collector two important artworks by Sebastian Bieniek (a painting and a drawing) are on sale in the Berlin based auction house Historia (historia.de).
One of the two existing self-portraits by the artist named "Two-Faced no. 6", painted in 2014 in oil on canvas.

Natural Born Sugareaters exhibition in Kunsthaus Tacheles, 1999
From 8th of oct. to 7th of nov. Sebastian Bieniek had an individual (solo) exhibition in the legendary Kunsthaus Tacheles in Berlin.
In the exhibition were multiple drawings from "The Turning Around Drawing" (ger. "Die Zeichnung die sich Dreht") series, the "Born To Be Boulette" performance and other works shown.

Sebastian Bieniek's Ghost Riders series becomes bigger and bigger".
As in the news from the 4th of april 2023 written the goal ist to create
232 paintings for the series. That means a lot of work and also new icons (characters).
Because of this there is a few
new icons which appear for the very first time among Bieniek's Ghost Riders. Icons such as
Muhammad Ali, Frederic Chopin, River Phoenix, Pier Paolo Passolini of which
all died in an unexpected and tragical way.
This most recent posted "Bieniek Ghost Riders" paintings are listed among the paintings from the
year 2022.

7 years to create the 27 paintings.

"Lovely Paintings" - series of paintings for the very first time published!
"Lovely Paintings", 2021 is a series of 30 paintings, each 40 cm. x 50 cm., painted in acrylic on canvas, by Sebastian Bieniek.
The artist painted at the end of the year 2021 nearly every day a painting with the aim to put good energy and feelings into it as the year 2021 was for many rather a sad and a dark year.
Following the pattern of "make the opposite to get the balance" he decided to focus in anything he thought is good.
That's the way the paintings were made.

"2022 Ghost Riders" - series of paintings for the very first time published!
The "2022 Ghost Riders" series of overpainted LP's of tragically died celebrities by Sebastian Bieniek was for the very first time published on the sebastianbieniek.com website.
It's a continuation of previous series which started 2016 with the "2016 Ghost Riders" series and was followed by the "2019 Ghost Riders" series.
The "2022 Ghost Riders" is starting by the 25th Ghost Riders painting which is a portrait of the japanese writer Mishima Yukio (三島 由紀夫) in Bieniek's Ghost-Riders-Style.
